The Nun: |
Oh, now i see. You're right. I chosse the locations for our Moonlight Salons very carefully. I like places with a sense of culture. Places with statue are ideal. I don't mind if the statues are of old people, children, men, or-like the two that got damaged-women. They're all the building blocks of Lumpolis' civilization.
Leyn: |
But you can't deny that the Moonlight Salons seem to be causing damage to the statues.
The Nun: |
Oh, i don't intend to deny that things have been a little chaotic, And obviously i've been nearby when the statues have got damaged. But i can swear on the White Night up high that i have nothing to do with the damaged statues or the Eclipsite attacks.

Navigator: |
(This nun certainly looks and sounds calm and entirely unconcerned.) (And she's got such a powerful aura. Maybe because of her faith?) (My instincts tell me she hasn't got anything to do with our case.)
Matthieu: |
Tut. Another dead end, and i guess we can't go around arresting people on our hunches.
Leyn: |
Sister, if all that you say is true... Might you be willing to attend the hearing as a witness?
The Nun: |
Well, i'm rushed off my feet organizing the Moonlight Salons, but if that's what the Hall of Jusctice desires, then yes. I'll do all i can to help.
Tina: |
But...! (What if talking her to the Hall of Justice causes her more problems...)
The Nun: |
Yes? Young lady, you have something to say?
Tina: |
I just want to know how you are able to stay so calm. I don't object to the Moonlight Salons. I enjoy them-they make Lumpolis seem like a different place. But the customs of Lumpolis are unaccepting even of divore. Much less free love. And as a woman of faith, someone who is clearly very devout... How did you come to decide to organize these salons for the people of Lumpolis? And you're not afraid of setting foot insiede the Hall of Justice? It's so... admirable.
Navigator: |
Tina...
The Nun: |
Heheh.. My child, are you perhaps asking about your own worries? The things is, when you get to my age, you simply stop worrying and overthinking so much. All i do is listen to the will of the God of Light. Over the course of its long history. Lumpolis has developed complex systems of etiquette to control our desires. But originally it was founded by ordinary men and women. Simple and pure Auririans. Over the years, the teachings of the God of Light were reinterpreted over and over. But at their heart, those teachings are both simple and kind. And that's the God of Light's true blessing. His true lessons. All i'm doing is taking the Aurorians back to their origins, to their true desires. There's no sin in this. It's merely something that our rules and customs do not understand. Faith and love... at their roots, they're one.
Tina: |
I-I think i understand. Thank you so much.
The Nun: |
Then i'll take my leave. And do let me know if if i can help further with your investigation. Although if i might offer a small suggestion to the Hall of Justice?
Leyn: |
Oh...?
The Nun: |
If you really want to learn more before the court hearing stars, rather than simply going through your processes... Then you'll have to stop working so mechanically. Think about what the plaintiff really wants.
Leyn: |
Thank you for the advice. We will thonk about this...
The Nun: |
Sure. That is all. Untill next time.
