Doomsday Chronicles[]
The Doomsday Chronicles is a compilation of written records said to be from the ancient civilizations that inhabited the periphery of Northland. After it was originally unearthed, researchers concluded that the extensive damage to the records was deliberate, and not the result of the passage of time. Fortunately, several passages in the tome were in relatively complete condition. The fragmented passages seem to prophesize an apocalyptic catastrophe...
Introduction[]
A fragment of the book entitled "Before the Darkness Fell." The missing parts of the passage show clear signs of being erased.
Volume I: Before the Darkness Fell[]
The Creator of the world
Decided to begin anew
And so, a terrible storm began to cleanse the land
The light of the moon was extinguished
He announced the arrival of the Eclipse to the world
He traveled between light and dark for two days, and created his messengers
Lastly, he bade the sun shine its light on the world below
With searing-hot magma
He rid the world of all living creatures that might resist him

Before the Darkness fell
A person once asked,
"What was the purpose of this dream at its inception?"
And a Consciousness answered,
"To allow eternity to return to the heavens.
To reach the other side.
To advance."
Another asked,
"What is the purpose we will find at the end of this maze?"
And the Consciousness answered,
"To know all.
To remove all obstacles.
To merge."
And then, he made his will known
"Advance. Advance without pause.
Surpass. Surpass without hesitation."
At this time
A Follower said,
"We shall likely meet our demise here."
And so, the Consciousness set about moving the immense, celestial bodies
And shattered the most absolute of principles
For none but it could do so, with unwavering determination
It decided to travel far beyond the heavens
To see the eyes of the abyss
And thus, did Believers appear
They execute their orders
To abolish
To forbid
To renew
To let all fall to ruin
To be as the end of days
To let the Darkness fall
